So far, for me the alarm on GPG is just FUD.
The suggestion to disable it on email client sounds to me like: "since HTML is not safe, let's write in clear".
Now, we perfectly now that HTML into email is dangerous. It is a bad practice. This guy now is telling us that , using HTML inside emails,
you could harm security.
Of course, EFF suggests to use Signal. "Since email in HTML is a bad practice, abandon a distributed system like SMTP is, and join a centralized one".
I call bullshit on that. All of that.
Just disable HTML in your mail client. That's it.
